The kids are back in school, or will be soon, and that means summer has come to an end. However, just because summer is over doesn’t mean there aren’t a lot of great events in Salt Lake this September. Take Care Utah Hispanic Heritage Parade and Festival

Take Care Utah is excited to announce Utah’s first annual Hispanic Heritage Parade and Street Festival. The event, celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month, will take place from 9:00AM – 2:30PM on September 3rd at The Gateway. The event will feature participants from local businesses and community organizations including Telemundo, Real Salt Lake, and the Salt Lake City Mayor’s office.
This free event will feature an exciting community parade, a contest to win Juan Gabriel concert tickets, food vendors, local artisans, dance performances, live music, and other family friendly entertainment.

This year’s Utah State Fair will be happening September 8-18, 2016. The Fair starts the first Thursday after Labor Day and lasts 10 days. Events includes Grandstand Shows, Arena Events, Barrel Racing, Kids Activities, and much more!
Avenues Street Fair

The Avenues Street Fair is held annually on the second Saturday of September. The fair spans five blocks and features live entertainment at each end. Fair attendance is free to all. The Fair features and celebrates local talent and artistry. In addition, local food vendors, non-profit organizations and small businesses take the opportunity to be known in the community.
