Draper Days Rodeo
When: July 6th, 2017
Where: Andy Ballard Equestrian Center

Come and Watch or Join Draper Days Rodeo. Child must weigh less than 50 pounds. Signed waiver, bike helmet and pre-registration is required. Only those pre-registered will be allowed to compete. To participate in the main rodeo events (bareback, calf roping, saddle bronc riding, team roping, barrel racing and bull riding, contact Circle “J” Rodeo.

Encore’s Bubble & Lunch

Ski Area Clean-up

CLEANIN UP THE MOUNTAIN!
Join us for a fun day of all over the mountain. It’s not just a trash clean up, but a treasure hunt sometimes. After a lovely lift ride to the top of Collins, we will leisurely take our routes downhill. It’s a stewardship exploration.

Draper Day Fireworks
When: July 15th, 2017

The finale to Draper Days is the spectacular fireworks shows, one of the very best in the entire state. The fireworks show will start after the main stage concert finishes, so come early to enjoy the concert and dinner in the park.

Float Preview Party
When: July 17th – 18th, 2017
Where: South Towne Expo Center

Meet the creators and technicians behind the 2017 Days of ’47 Parade floats and see how it all comes together — even before the Parade rolls! Vote for your favorite float and, after the Preview Party ballots are counted, watch the banners on July 24th to see if your favorite float won the “People’s Choice” or the “Children’s Choice” award. Here’s another highlight — the Youth Parade’s winning float will be included in the Parade on July 24th AND all Youth Parade floats are invited to participate in the Float Preview Party.

Yappy Hour

Join us for our 4th annual “Yappy Hour” series of events this summer! Bring yourself and your pooch to the park for a fun evening after a long day at the office! Admission is FREE! We will have off-leash areas for your dogs to play and live music! 2017 Pioneer Days

Utah’s celebration of Pioneer Day won’t be complete without a visit to This Is The Place Heritage Park! In addition of our everyday line-up of FUN, we add even more on this special day we celebrate the founding of UTAH!

Your entire family will have a blast! Really?.our Candy Cannon heralds the day with a BANG! It’s raining old-fashioned taffy down Main Street when the Candy Cannon fires away.

Native American dancing is a crowd favorite all summer long, but on Pioneer Day we have an extra spectacular show planned in the Bowery.

Skymasters Wildlife will entertain you again this year with their fantastic bird show. These beautiful birds are amazing and will be up close so don’t miss this photo opportunity.

There will be games galore! Can you remember the last time you won a stick horse race or beat your cousins in a game of tug-of-war? Come prepared to play with us and take home some new family memories!
